To apply for this programme, you will need to:
Hold the NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 3) or an equivalent qualification or significant experience and/or capability in a relevant role.
If English is your second language, you’ll need to demonstrate English competency (IELTS 5.5 Academic, with no band below 5, or equivalent).
We also consider applicants with significant relevant experience through general or special admission.
Learners will be required to secure a suitable aged care placement before commencing the practical component of this course. HANZ will provide support where possible however it remains the student’s responsibility to obtain and confirm the placement.
Note: All students will need access to a computer with prescribed basic hardware requirements, a microphone, and a reliable internet connection.
